A large public meeting was held under the initiative of Birtara Union BNP No. 1 of Dhanbari Upazila of Tangail. Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP executive committee member Alhaj Fakir Mahbub Anam Swapan was present as the chief guest on the occasion, Tangail district BNP president Hasanuzzamil Shaheen, Dhanbari upazila BNP president M Azizur Rahman were present as special guests. Vice President Hafez Khairul Islam Munsi, Organizing Secretary, Abubakkar Siddique Lebu, General Secretary, Enamul Haque VP Joint General Secretary, Zahidul Islam Mohabbat, Municipal BNP president SM, Sobhan Upazila BNP member Kamal Hossain Talukdar Mintu, Birtara Union BNP president, general secretary, fellow Chhatra Dal, all the leaders and workers of Subdal were present. Alhaj Fakir Mahbub Anam Swapan said, “On July 18, 2006, I gave Dhanbari upazila as a gift through a notification of my sister Begum Khaleda Zia. We have come to you by working. You should think that, in the next election, you will win by voting for the rice grain marka, insha’Allah.”
